Job summary

Trader Hire is seeking stock and options traders to join our professional trading firm. Trade firm capital across equity and options markets with significant profit splits, mentorship, and a supportive community.

This is a 1099 independent contractor role with 100% remote work, based in Jackson, MS or nearby. Starting firm capital up to $50,000 with progression to $500,000+; profit splits range 65%–90% depending on tier.

Qualifications

• At least 2+ years trading derivatives or currency markets.
• Solid understanding of execution quality, slippage, and fee impact on results.
• Operate within firm risk guidelines while keeping autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Identify and execute high-probability options setups across U.S. listed equity markets.
• Use options Greeks (delta, gamma, theta, vega) to construct positions with deliberate exposures.
• Apply portfolio-level risk controls to manage concentration, correlation, and drawdown.
• Review fills, P&L, and execution quality daily to refine your trading process.
• Keep an organized trade journal capturing both quantitative and qualitative observations.
• Participate in regular peer reviews and trader development sessions as desired.
