Job summary

First Soft Digital Solutions is seeking an IBM Sterling OMS Developer with 7+ years of hands-on OMS experience. This remote, full-time/contract role focuses on developing and implementing Sterling OMS and Omnichannel solutions, including UI work and REST API integration.

The ideal candidate will have strong Java expertise, Angular 13+ frontend skills, and solid knowledge of XML/JSON data handling, microservices, and secure integration patterns.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on experience in IBM Sterling OMS development.
• Experience with IBM Sterling OMS and Omnichannel solutions including large-scale implementations.
• Develop and customize Call Center and Store-facing UIs within Sterling Omnichannel.
• Strong Java programming for scalable enterprise applications.
• Front-end development with Angular 13+ and integration with backend services.
• Experience with XML and JSON data structures and transformations.
• Design, develop, and integrate REST APIs and web services for OMS workflows.
• Experience with microservices architectures and modern integration patterns.
• Understanding of secure integration, authentication, authorization, and API security.
• Follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) and write comprehensive tests.
• Collaborate with architects, BAs, developers, and QA to deliver solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize OMS Call Center and store-facing interfaces.
• Design and implement REST APIs to support OMS processes.
• Integrate with microservices and modern enterprise backends.
• Follow TDD and maintain high-quality unit/integration tests.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts and QA to meet business goals.
