Job summary

Rotating Machinery Services Inc is seeking a Field Technology Static Equipment Manager to lead virtual assembly and metrology services for static equipment across client sites in the United States. The role combines technical leadership, project execution, and business development to expand RMS’s static equipment capabilities.

You will manage cross-functional teams, coordinate data-driven deliverables, and drive risk reduction while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

Significant technical experience with static equipment in heavy industrial environments.
Strong knowledge of dimensional metrology and large-scale measurement technologies.
Experience interpreting engineering and fabrication drawings, GD&T, and tolerances.

Responsibilities

Lead virtual assembly projects for static equipment and serve as technical authority.
Develop execution strategies using metrology, 3D scanning, laser tracking, and virtual assembly.
Provide technical leadership for vessels, reactors, exchangers, and other static equipment; support standards and training.
Drive growth of RMS static equipment services and manage customer relationships.
Coordinate cross-functional teams across metrology, engineering, field services, and project management.
