Job summary

Pearson is seeking an Advanced Specialist in Government Relations to monitor state legislation and regulatory activity, analyse developments, and produce clear policy materials for internal and external stakeholders. You will work with senior team members to ensure policy analysis reflects business realities and support advocacy across multiple states.

This remote role requires strong writing, policy research, and collaboration skills, with 2–5 years in government relations or policy analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Public Policy or related field.
• 2–5 years in government relations or policy analysis.
• Strong writing and editing for policy materials.

Responsibilities

• Monitor state legislative and regulatory activity across policy areas.
• Develop and maintain policy scorecards and trackers.
• Summarise proposed legislation and regulatory proposals with potential business impact.
• Produce updates: trackers, digests, alerts, concise summaries.
