Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Staff Infrastructure & Platform Engineer to hands‑on build and operate the paved road pipeline, shared services, and environments. You will ensure reliability and scale by implementing infrastructure-as-code and supporting product teams.

You will participate in monitoring, on-call rotations, incident response, and documentation maintenance, growing into deeper ownership while aligning with standards and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of professional experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Minimum 3 years in Infrastructure & Platform Engineering or IT.
• Military experience counts as professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain features of the golden-path pipeline, shared services, and environments; implement infrastructure-as-code for provisioning and environment management.
• Participate in monitoring, alerting, and on-call rotation; respond to incidents and support post-incident problem solving; help meet service-level objectives for platform services.
• Support product teams onboarding to the paved road and maintain technical documentation.
