Responsibilities

• Provide support and guidance to UVM Health Network partners.
• Prepare recurring and non-recurring journal entries and analyses related to financial statements, intercompany activity, and sub ledgers.
• Analyze balance sheet accounts and department cost centers for accuracy, completeness and reasonableness; identify trends and recommend corrective action.
• Prepare in-depth analyses of revenue and expense variances with explanations for current and prior year changes and projected impacts.
• Prepare monthly journal entries for assigned accounts and ensure all activity is recorded and reconciled.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis in preparation for audits.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and proofreading of financial documents; participate in special projects and process improvements.
• Maintain supporting documentation for audits in accordance with department standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge across multiple balance sheet areas and intercompany activity.
