Gravity IT Resources is seeking a Sr Collibra Administrator to support data governance initiatives by managing and optimizing governance tools. The role includes developing and delivering training on tool usage, monitoring adoption metrics, and maintaining performance, security, and role management.

You will lead user support for lineage, data quality, profiling, and impact analysis, collaborating with analysts to align tools with business needs and promote data privacy and compliance through

Qualifications

• 10 years of Data Governance System Administration experience.
• 5 years of experience in data management, including data governance, business intelligence, and data warehousing.
• Collibra experience (not just user level).
• Linux application administration experience.
• Experience with data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake, Teradata, or Oracle Exadata.
• Highly technical background with emphasis in software development or application integration (APIs and Middleware).
• Familiarity with BI and analytics tools (Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, Qlik Sense).
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
• Strong SQL skills; scripting or programming experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support data governance initiatives and tool management.
• Develop and deliver training on governance tools.
• Monitor adoption metrics and ROI, report findings.
• Maintain tool performance, configuration, updates, security, and role management.
• Lead user support for key use cases (lineage, data quality, profiling, impact analysis).
• Partner with analysts to meet business use case needs.
• Promote data privacy and compliance through tool use.
• Ensure internal training and adherence to procedures for increased adoption.
• Manage roles and security settings within governance tools.
• Keep tools updated, configured, and efficiently utilized.
• Assist with crawling, profiling, lineage, and impact analysis tasks.
• Conduct training to improve tool proficiency among analysts.
