Job summary

Rider Solution is seeking a seasoned QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks in a fast-paced fintech environment. The role demands strong hands-on experience with Playwright and Selenium, API testing, and CI/CD, with collaboration across engineering, product, and QA teams.

The candidate will perform functional, regression, end-to-end, and UI testing, analyze requirements to craft detailed test cases, and drive continuous improvements in QA

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Automation Testing.

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and automation frameworks.
• Develop automation solutions using Playwright and/or Selenium.

• Analyze business and technical requirements to develop detailed test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute automated and manual tests as required.
• Identify, document, track, and troubleshoot software defects.
• Maintain and improve existing automation frameworks.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, product teams, and other QA engineers.
• Review test results and provide detailed reporting on defects, risks, and overall application quality.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Support continuous improvements to QA processes and automation coverage.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Automation Testing, or a related role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Selenium.
• Strong experience developing and maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Experience with web application automation and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with API testing and validation.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Experience with source control systems such as Git.
• Experience working with CI/CD tools and automated test execution.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working within the banking, financial services, or fintech industry.
• Experience testing banking or financial applications.
• Experience with API automation tools and frameworks.
• Experience with SQL and database validation.
• Experience working with cloud-based applications and testing environments.
