Soleo Health is seeking a Remote Specialty Prior Authorization Coordinator to support our Specialty Infusion Pharmacy and ensure uninterrupted patient care nationwide.

The role requires at least 2 years of home infusion specialty pharmacy experience, prior authorizations, test claims, and HCPC calculations, with hours Mon-Fri 9:30am–6pm CST. You will verify benefits, secure authorizations, and coordinate with prescribers and patients while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Requires specialty home infusion experience and prior authorizations.
• Experience with test claims and HCPCS calculations is needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain prior authorizations, co-pay assistance, and verify coverage for services.
• Obtain detailed benefit information and maximize plan benefits.
• Verify insurance benefits monthly via tools or payor contacts.
• Generate prior authorization expiration reports regularly.
• Review clinical documents for authorizations and determinations.
• Secure prior authorizations, pre-determination, or medical reviews.
• Contact prescribers to obtain required information for re-authorizations.
• Notify patients/prescribers of delays or information needs for approvals.
• Document insurance coverage for medications, supplies, and infusion services.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Inform patients about financial responsibilities and payor coverage.
• Keep up-to-date prior authorization reports.
