Job summary

Soleo Health is seeking a Clearance Specialist to support our Specialty Infusion Pharmacy and work remotely in the USA. You will verify patient eligibility, manage payer authorizations, and calculate patient out-of-pocket costs while coordinating benefits.

The role requires at least 2 years in home infusion, knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid guidelines, and strong communication with patients and providers. Join us to help simplify complex care with competitive wages, benefits, and advancement

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of home infusion specialty pharmacy intake experience.
• Experience with prior authorizations, benefit verifications, and test claim adjudication.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care reimbursement guidelines.
• Strong multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment with HIPAA awareness.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient eligibility and document coverage for medications and infusion services.
• Document coinsurance, copay, deductibles, and authorization requirements.
• Calculate estimated patient financial responsibility from verifications and contracts.
• Initiate and follow up on prior authorizations and medical reviews.
• Communicate with patients, referral sources, and internal/external teams.
• Refer or assist enrollment in copay assistance programs when needed.
• Generate new patient start of care paperwork.
• Other duties as assigned.
