About the Role

Our client, a forward-thinking provider of online educational services, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Remote Special Education Teacher. This is a fully remote position, designed for professionals who are passionate about supporting learners with diverse special educational needs (SEN) in an online environment. You will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), providing targeted interventions, and collaborating with parents, educators, and support staff to ensure every student receives the tailored support they need to succeed. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct online assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, parents, school psychologists, and other support personnel to ensure a cohesive approach to student support.
• Utilize a variety of assistive technologies and digital tools to enhance learning and engagement for students with disabilities.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records, including progress reports and IEP documentation.
• Facilitate virtual meetings with parents and support teams to discuss student progress and set goals.
• Stay current with research, best practices, and legal requirements related to special education and online learning.
• Provide guidance and support to families on how to best support their child's learning at home.

Requirements
