Edmentum is a Remote First company in the education technology space, seeking a Virtual Special Education Teacher to deliver live, on-camera instruction to diverse students. You will personalize learning using performance data, provide timely feedback, and maintain records for families, while collaborating with schools and Edmentum colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education and an active Special Education teaching license (grades 6-12).
• Experience teaching in virtual and/or in-person settings with live online classrooms.
• Strong on-camera presence and ability to teach live for multiple hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Deliver live, on-camera synchronous instruction for five or more hours per day, every instructional day, in a dynamic virtual classroom.
• Use student performance data to personalize instruction and address learning gaps.
• Provide timely, meaningful feedback and maintain accurate progress records for students and families.
• Build trustful relationships with students and families through proactive communication.
• Collaborate with school partners and Edmentum colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality support.
