Job summary

Capital Region BOCES seeks a Spanish teacher to deliver differentiated instruction virtually to grades 7-12 within a supported virtual learning model. The employee location is at the teacher's discretion in consultation with BOCES.

Applicants should hold NYS Certification in Spanish 7-12 and have experience teaching in a virtual setting. Ongoing professional development and collaboration with district staff are expected throughout the year.

Qualifications

• Must hold NYS Certification in Spanish for grades 7-12.
• Experience teaching Spanish to grades 7-12 preferred.
• Experience teaching in a virtual learning environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated, direct instruction synchronously and asynchronously for grades 7-12 Spanish.
• Collaborate with virtual faculty and administrators to support students.
• Maintain a professional virtual learning environment with adequate bandwidth.
