Qualifications

• Formal interpreter training (≥40 hours) required.
• Remote healthcare interpreting experience preferred.
• Proof of appropriate remote work setup per RWH agreement.
• Must be listed on Minnesota Department of Health Spoken Language Interpreter Roster upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Interpret accurately and completely, conveying content and spirit of the message.
• Use consecutive and simultaneous interpreting as appropriate.
• Manage setup and flow of communication to support autonomy in conversations.
• Facilitate cross-cultural communication and identify language or cultural disparities.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to interpreter ethics and standards.
