Job summary

Unique Interpreters, LLC is seeking qualified Spanish-English interpreters/translators for remote, part-time, independent contractor work. Responsibilities include real-time interpretation during phone sessions and document translation, with a strong emphasis on confidentiality and trauma-informed communication.

Ideal candidates have native or near-native fluency in Spanish and English, at least one year of professional interpretation or translation experience, and current interpreter

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in both Spanish and English (verbal and written).
• Minimum of one year of professional interpretation and/or translation experience.
• Current interpreter certification required (CMI, Court, NBCMI, CCHI or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, real-time consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation during phone sessions between English and Spanish.
• Translate written documents, forms, and correspondence between English and Spanish as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of all client, case, and personal information.
• Interpret in a neutral, professional, trauma-informed manner.
• Maintain availability for scheduled and on-demand sessions.
• Document session details for billing and quality tracking.
