Job summary

AuraOne is seeking a Data Annotation (Spanish Speaker) reviewer to work remotely as an independent contractor. You will evaluate Spanish model outputs for fluency, register, and cultural accuracy and provide strong rationale for the best response in each pair.

Responsibilities include flagging issues, capturing native-speaker edits, and aligning with AuraOne rubrics during weekly quality cycles. Prior experience in model evaluation or annotation is a plus.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native Spanish fluency with strong written-English ability.
• Experience editing, translating, or evaluating Spanish content.
• Reliable async availability for at least 10 hours per week.
• Prior model-evaluation, annotation, or human-rater experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate Spanish model responses for fluency, accuracy, register, and cultural fit.
• Compare paired Spanish outputs and pick the stronger with a written rationale.
• Flag hallucinations, code-switching errors, and formality mismatches with task-specific severity tags.
• Capture native-speaker edits that demonstrate correct phrasing alongside each issue.
• Calibrate against the AuraOne Spanish rubric in weekly reviewer-quality cycles.
• Surface ambiguous prompts back to the program team to sharpen the rubric.
• Maintain reviewer notes on tricky idioms, regionalisms, and emerging usage.
