Job summary

CesiumAstro in Kentucky is seeking a Software Engineer responsible for developing low-level and high-level software for their products. The role involves designing software for embedded systems and participating in all phases of development including coding, testing, and customer support.

The ideal candidate will have a BS or MS in a relevant field, 4 years of experience in software development, and be proficient in C/C++. The position starts remotely but will transition to in-person work in the future.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of industry experience in software development.
• Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting of embedded hardware.
• Excellent understanding of multi-threaded applications and resource management.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing software for embedded devices.
• Reviewing code and system designs.
• Providing post-production/in-orbit customer support.
