ELIASSEN GROUP seeks an IT Audit Manager to plan, execute, and report on ITGC and application controls for a SOX engagement. This remote role involves coordinating with stakeholders and driving remediation efforts to ensure compliant controls.

You will assess IT controls across change management, access, operations, and interfaces, documenting findings with clear evidence. W2 benefits and competitive hourly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Recent SOX ITGC testing experience as a senior associate or manager.
• Knowledge of COSO, COBIT, and ITIL frameworks.
• Experience with ERP environments and financial reporting applications.
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with audit or GRC tools.
• Ability to manage timelines across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CPA, or CIA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute SOX ITGC and application control testing in accordance with established methodologies.
• Evaluate IT controls over change management, access management, operations, and interfaces.
• Perform walkthroughs, develop test procedures, and document testing results with clear evidence.
• Identify control deficiencies, assess impact, and support management with remediation and retesting.
• Coordinate with process owners, external auditors, and project stakeholders to align timelines and scope.
• Prepare status updates, testing summaries, and issue logs for leadership review.
• Support risk assessments, scoping, and control rationalization activities.
