Job summary

Eliassen Group in a remote client engagement seeks an IT Audit Manager to lead SOX ITGC and application control testing. You will plan, execute, and report testing results, coordinate with process owners and external auditors, and support remediation activities to ensure SOX compliance.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of COSO, COBIT and ITIL, experience with ERP environments, and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• SOX ITGC testing experience in a senior associate or manager role.
• Knowledge of COSO, COBIT, and ITIL frameworks.
• Experience with ERP environments and financial reporting applications.
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with audit tools.
• Ability to manage timelines across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
• Certifications such as CISA, CPA, or CIA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute SOX ITGC and application control testing in accordance with established methodologies.
• Evaluate IT controls over change management, access management, operations, and interfaces.
• Perform walkthroughs, develop test procedures, and document testing results with clear evidence.
• Identify control deficiencies, assess impact, and support management with remediation and retesting.
• Coordinate with process owners, external auditors, and project stakeholders to align timelines and scope.
• Prepare status updates, testing summaries, and issue logs for leadership review.
• Support risk assessments, scoping, and control rationalization activities.
