Job summary

Sonoma Land Trust is seeking a Southeast Greenway Project Coordinator to support planning, partnerships, and public engagement for a 2-year term. You will help manage the Park Master Plan processes, track deliverables, and keep complex work moving forward in coordination with staff and City partners.

This full-time role requires strong organizational skills, experience in nonprofit operations, and the ability to work evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of nonprofit operations or project management experience.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, responsiveness, and follow-through.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills for multiple schedules.
• Ability to build and improve operational systems and software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Commitment to equity and environmental sustainability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Box/Google Drive.
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid California driver's license.
• Ability to work weekends and evenings.
• Ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling and workflow among staff, volunteers, consultants, and City staff.
• Prepare meeting agendas, notes, decisions, action items.
• Manage logistics for community engagement activities and events.
• Prepare updates, briefings, and reports for leadership and partners.
• Monitor progress and escalate issues requiring decisions.
• Represent the project at partner meetings and public settings.
• Maintain calendars and virtual meeting logistics.
