Center for Biological Diversity, a national nonprofit, seeks a Southeast Campaigner (staff or senior) to plan and execute campaigns protecting red wolves, aquatic species, forests, and rivers across the Southeast. You will engage communities, meet with agencies and leaders, organize events, write materials, and manage digital content to mobilize broad support.

Qualifications

• Campaign or organizing experience.
• Staff: 3 years of experience
• Senior: 7+ years of experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute campaign plans focused on Southeast priorities.
• Coordinate with media, decision-makers, the public, and allies through outreach and public speaking.
• Organize hearings, meetings, rallies, and other events to mobilize support.
• Lobby policymakers and build coalitions with Tribes, local communities, businesses and organizations.
• Create campaign materials including op-eds, letters, and digital content.
• Lead coalitions to advance protections for key species and habitats.
