Job summary

Valor Compounding Pharmacy, Inc. is seeking a Technical Writer to create and maintain SOPs for pharmacy operations, customer service, and other business functions. The role requires excellent writing and communication skills, ability to work independently, and experience creating SOPs for regulated industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Business, or a technical discipline with 2+ years of related work experience
• 2 to 5 years of previous experience in technical writing, specifically in creating SOPs or procedural documents
• Experience in developing policies, procedures, manuals, or formal documents
• Proficiency in using word processing software (e.g., Microsoft Word) and CMS or document management systems
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to our industry
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in SOPs
• Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, understandable procedural documents
• Strong research abilities to gather information from subject matter experts and documentation
• Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple revisions and updates
• Ability to analyze processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
• Excellent English grammar, spelling, and punctuation
• Effective collaboration with experts and stakeholders to gather requirements
• Strong technical writing skills
• Pre-employment Drug testing is required

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain SOPs for pharmacy operations, customer service, and other business functions
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy of SOPs
• Research and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Write clear, concise, and easy-to-understand SOPs
• Review and revise SOPs as needed to ensure they remain current and effective
• Ensure SOPs are properly formatted, numbered, and maintained
• Collaborate with training team to ensure SOPs are incorporated into training programs
• Assist in any duties necessary to ensure the functionality of the business
