Job summary

Iaawg is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the migration of mainframe modules to a modern AWS serverless-first architecture from Addison, Texas. You will define architectural boundaries, decompose legacy systems, and drive cloud-native solutions aligned with enterprise standards.

The role requires strong AWS expertise, a track record in modernization projects, and collaboration with product and data teams to ensure scalable, observable, and well-governed services across the modernization

Qualifications

5-7 years of principal or senior engineer experience.
Experience converting legacy/mainframe to cloud-native architectures.
AWS certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Associate) preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead architectural design for migrating mainframe modules to AWS serverless services.
Decompose monolithic mainframe functionality into event-driven microservices.
Define data migration strategies and data stores for modernized services.
Prepare solution briefs for architectural changes and align with enterprise standards.
