Job summary

Silicon Ranch is seeking a Remote Operations Center Operator for our Nashville, TN facility. The role focuses on real-time monitoring, control, and compliance for utility-scale solar PV plants from the ROC.

You will work with Balancing Authorities, TOPs, and O&M teams to ensure safe, reliable operations and regulatory adherence. The position requires a technical engineering background and hands-on experience with SCADA/EMS, with opportunities to grow into analytics, compliance, or performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 1–3 years of experience in a technical call center or operations center role preferred.
• Experience with SCADA, EMS, and plant monitoring platforms advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate solar PV plants using SCADA, EMS, and monitoring platforms.
• Execute remote switching, curtailments, and plant controls per SOPs.
• Coordinate with Balancing Authorities and Transmission Operators.
• Maintain real-time situational awareness of plant status, weather, and grid constraints.
• Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI and other tools.
