Job summary

Lightstar Renewables is seeking an experienced Development Manager to lead the development of solar PV projects, with a focus on Illinois and Maryland portfolios. You will advance projects from early stage through permitting, coordinating stakeholders and addressing commercial, permitting, interconnection, real estate, and community issues.

The role is remote with in-office presence available for those in the greater Boston Metro area, offering ownership of projects and cross-disciplinary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least two years of solar PV project development experience.
• Ability to travel periodically to project sites and stakeholder meetings.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of renewable energy projects from early stage through investment milestones.
• Lead site-control activities including leases, easements, title work, surveys, and related real estate matters.
• Coordinate permitting and entitlement processes at local, state, and federal levels.
• Oversee interconnection applications, studies, agreements, and utility communications.
