Job summary

LMI is seeking a Software Testing Lead for a remote role supporting an emerging USPS program. You will lead testing efforts, design test strategies, and coordinate user acceptance for AI components, ensuring accessibility and quality across platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience designing a test strategy to ensure high-quality software/hardware solutions.
• Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and executing test cases.
• Knowledge of test tools for manual/automatic testing and bug-tracking systems.
• Experience in qualitative research, persona development and user journeys.
• Proficiency with programming languages (C#, .Net, Python, Java) and Visual Studio.

Responsibilities

• Take requirements and acceptance criteria and develop test cases and testing scripts.
• Locate and perform root cause analysis on defects and provide feedback to developers.
• Execute comprehensive testing of software; run manual and automated tests for performance, compatibility, and UI.
• Collaborate with developers and business teams on testing approaches and infrastructure.
• Communicate results to stakeholders and recommend improvements.
• Rapidly test designs with users using passive and active methods.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing for AI components at release milestones.
• Advise front-end developers on delivering model outcomes to users.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards including accessibility (508).
