UNCOMN is seeking a Software Tester 2-3 (Associate/Mid-Level) to collaborate with engineers, craft streamlined test processes, and support comprehensive testing across function, system, and performance areas. The role emphasizes participation in reviews and forming robust test plans while maintaining UNCOMN's standards.

The position is primarily remote with a current requirement to work onsite every Wednesday; additional onsite days may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related professional testing experience.
• Deep understanding of SDLC and software development fundamentals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to perform complex tasks with minimal supervision.
• Eligible to obtain US Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to craft streamlined test processes using automated tools.
• Perform function, component, system, performance, regression, and service testing.
• Participate in design reviews, peer reviews, and project meetings.
• Set up test environments and design test plans, cases, and scenarios.
• Provide direction to ensure tasks align with goals.
