Job summary

Humana is seeking a Software Quality Testing Engineer to join our remote team reporting to the Director, Network Operations. You will evaluate software against business standards, isolate defects, and develop test data and procedures to ensure end-user satisfaction.

You will work within the software development life cycle, apply QA methodologies, and make decisions with minimal supervision while aligning with DoD contract requirements for U.S. citizenship and security clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or qualifying experience.
• At least 3 years of technical experience.
• Experience developing test data and procedures for ensuring software meets standards.
• U.S. citizenship required for DoD contract and government security clearance approval.
• Master's degree preferred.
• One year Tricare Contract experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate software products against business standards and requirements.
• Isolate, reproduce, and track defects; verify fixes.
• Develop test data and procedures to ensure end-user satisfaction.
• Follow QA methodologies across the software development life cycle.
