Job summary

Humana is seeking a Software Engineer 2 to develop and maintain scalable software applications within a healthcare tech ecosystem. The candidate will build reusable UI components and integrate with REST/SOAP APIs, cloud platforms, and analytics tools while adhering to security and compliance standards.

The role requires 1–2 years of experience with React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript, GraphQL, and cloud hosting (Azure/GCP).

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of proficiency in React Native, Java Script, Type Script, GraphQL including query and mutation development and Apollo/Relay client handling.
• 1-2 years of experience with API integration (REST/SOAP).
• 1-2 years of experience with cloud platforms (Azure/GCP) for hosting, monitoring, and scaling.

Responsibilities

• Built highly reusable UI components and shared business modules, reducing feature development effort.
• Integrate with REST and SOAP APIs for third-party services.
• Integrate with Adobe Analytics and Dynatrace for application monitoring, telemetry and performance optimization.
• Deploy, monitor, and scale solutions on Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform.
• Participate in DevOps processes, including CI/CD pipeline configuration and version control.
• Apply security and compliance standards, including PCI, HIPAA, and CMS requirements.
