Job summary

You will assess correctness, style, and edge-case handling in candidate solutions and provide clear rationale to guide improvements.

Collaborate with the modeling team, tag failures, and document recurring issues to improve automated reviews.

Qualifications

• Strong day-job engineering experience with ability to read, run, and debug unfamiliar code.
• Ability to write concise unit tests that capture a single failure mode.
• Familiarity with a testing framework (pytest, Jest, JUnit, Go test, RSpec, etc.).
• Clear written reasoning to convince another senior engineer.

Responsibilities

• Run and reproduce candidate code in a sandboxed environment.
• Grade software engineer outputs for correctness, style, edge cases.
• Write minimal failing tests to demonstrate bugs.
• Compare paired solutions with a rubric-based rationale.
• Tag failure modes with severity scores.
• Document recurring code-generation failures for the modeling team.
