Job summary

Sezzle is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to contribute to backend and frontend services, participate in code reviews, and help scale a fintech platform from a remote setting (Peru). You will work with Golang, TypeScript, Python, and React, learning through real projects and mentorship.

Ideal candidates are students or graduates with curiosity, quick learners, and a passion for technology. You’ll gain hands-on experience across databases, cloud tools, CI/CD, and AI-assisted development.

Qualifications

• Experience with Golang, Python, or any backend language.
• Familiarity with Javascript/TypeScript, and React or similar framework.
• Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
• Demonstrated experience using Claude or equivalent LLM tools.
• Curiosity, eagerness to learn and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining backend and frontend services.
• Write clean, scalable code and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to implement new features and resolve bugs.
• Work on performance tuning, debugging, and scaling of Sezzle's platform
• Document software functionalities and contribute to the knowledge base
