Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Software Engineer II to join our US-based remote team. You will perform full stack development using C# and .NET Core, ReactJS, MVC, Linq, and REST API services to deliver robust software for government and commercial clients.

The position is remote within the United States and requires US citizenship. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in design reviews, and help maintain secure, scalable applications while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

Typically, 3 years of C# program experience with .NET technology, MVC, Linq, and REST API development, plus a Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
ReactJS programming experience preferred.
US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, troubleshoot, and analyze software programs for computer-based systems.
Ensure automated data feeds and system interfaces work as intended.
Participate in software requirements reviews and design reviews.
Design, write, test, deploy and support software code and reports.
Perform software upgrades in accordance with quality procedures.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external customers on technical matters.
Support continuous improvement to enhance software quality.
