Job summary

INSPYR Solutions seeks a Software Engineer I to help build, evaluate, and improve AI-powered computer-use systems that operate real software and complete complex tasks. You will own technical workflows end to end, including implementation, validation, testing, documentation, and maintenance.

The role emphasizes designing benchmarks, test suites, and validation workflows, plus strong automation and code-quality practices across engineering, AI/ML, product, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering background with production-quality systems.
• Experience with AI/ML model training.
• Proficiency with Python and PyTorch.
• Experience with ML evaluation and benchmarking, distributed systems, or dev infra.
• Designing or evolving benchmarks and test suites.
• Strong debugging, testing, and code quality discipline.
• Familiarity with deployment strategies like canary releases and rollbacks.
• Experience using AI coding assistants like Claude Code, Codex or Cursor.
• Ability to own complex technical workflows end to end.
• Strong communication and feedback skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, evaluate, and maintain AI-powered systems that perform real-world tasks.
• Design benchmarks, evaluation frameworks, test suites, and validation workflows.
• Own complex, long-running projects from implementation to validation and documentation.
• Investigate discrepancies across code, config, infra, models, and results.
• Develop reproducible testing methodologies and document findings.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code with strong automated testing practices.
• Apply deployment and risk-management practices such as canaries, rollbacks, and monitoring.
• Identify weak implementations and communicate actionable feedback.
• Collaborate with engineering, AI/ML, product, operations, and cross-functional teams.
