Job summary

TEKsystems in the Greater Seattle Area is seeking Remote Engineers to support, improve, and maintain an existing data labeling system used for offline experimentation, metric tracking, training data generation, content moderation, and filtering. The role requires residing in the Greater Seattle Area and offers a 12-month contract with potential extension.

Daily work includes monitoring system functionality, ad hoc support, bug fixing, test case development, UI work for raters, data swarm

Qualifications

• Experience with operations such as debugging, fixing, monitoring and/or optimizing an existing system.
• Experience with middle tier development in a modern programming language such as a Python, Ruby, PHP, GoLang, etc. (must be open to learning PHP)
• Basic understanding of SQL
• Experience working with Stakeholders to gather and further qualify requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system functionality and performance.
• Provide ad hoc support and bug fixes.
• Monitor and add test cases to the system.
• Build UI for raters and support data workflows.
• Create data swarm pipelines and related widgets.
