Remotebridge is seeking a Software Engineer contractor to contribute to a customer-focused project that refines development workflows and automation. You will help train AI systems with high-quality inputs, applying your domain expertise to real-world tasks while collaborating with a distributed team.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing, reproducible environments, and robust integration work, all while maintaining strong written and verbal English communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software engineering with Git/GitHub workflows, PRs, code review, and CI log diagnostics.
• Proficient with CI/CD systems, ideally GitHub Actions, with custom workflows.
• Familiar with Claude and ChatGPT connectors.
• Advanced scripting in Python or Bash; automating environment setup.
• Experience with REST APIs, OAuth, and webhooks.
• Experience with Slack, Google Workspace, or Microsoft 365.
• Experience using AI assistants or agent tools in developer tasks.
• Background in QA, evaluation, or data annotation.
• Strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Execute structured evaluation assignments simulating developer activities incl. VCS, code review, issue tracking, and CI/CD workflows with AI tools.
• Assess and grade technical correctness of outputs by hands-on verification in relevant environments.
• Design seed and maintain reproducible test environments with real commit histories and CI workflows.
• Configure and troubleshoot integrations and authentication flows across multiple services.
• Investigate undocumented product behaviors through hands-on exploration and testing.
• Participate in calibration sessions to ensure consistent evaluation methods.
