Job summary

DecisionPoint seeks ten Software Developers to build, test, document, and maintain mission-critical software for the USMEPCOM ENLIST program. You will implement features, create unit tests, perform maintenance updates, fix defects, and prepare technical documentation to support secure and reliable software delivery.

Developers work with senior staff, architects, analysts, UI/UX specialists, testers, cybersecurity personnel, DevSecOps, and Government stakeholders across the software-development

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance or higher preferred
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or related field
• Six+ years of professional software experience
• Experience developing, testing, and maintaining software applications or systems
• Experience implementing features from requirements, user stories, or designs
• Experience developing and maintaining unit tests
• Experience investigating and correcting defects in software
• Experience maintaining technical software documentation
• Experience using version-control and structured source-code management

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, integrate, document, and maintain software capabilities
• Implement features from approved requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and designs
• Develop components, services, interfaces, and application logic
• Write secure, maintainable, and testable code
• Develop and maintain unit, integration, and regression tests
• Perform maintenance, updates, refactoring, and debt reduction
• Investigate, reproduce, diagnose, and correct defects
• Support root-cause analysis and durable corrective actions
• Assist with security remediation by applying approved changes
• Participate in peer reviews, code reviews, and design discussions
• Follow review feedback and software-development standards
• Use version-control practices and release tagging
• Support CI, automated builds, testing, and deployment
• Develop and maintain technical documentation
• Support integration and troubleshooting across components
• Collaborate to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria
• Coordinate with cybersecurity to address vulnerabilities
• Support demos, UAT, and stakeholder feedback
• Participate in sprints, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
• Provide estimates and identify dependencies and risks
• Maintain accurate status and delivery information
