Job summary

CAI is seeking a Software Developer Intern for a full-time remote internship. The program runs June 7, 2027 through August 6, 2027, requiring 40 hours per week and availability during core business hours for the entire 9-week duration.

All work must be performed within the United States. Responsibilities include building front-end features with Vue.js, implementing WCAG-compliant accessibility, debugging frontend and backend apps, and backend work with Eclipse, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL,

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a college degree program in an Information Technology–related major.
Some programming experience in Java through coursework or prior internships.
Current Junior with a 3.5 GPA or higher.

Responsibilities

Develop front-end features and components using Vue.js.
Add accessibility-compliant code to ensure WCAG standards and inclusive front-end experiences.
Debug both front-end and backend applications to identify, analyze, and resolve issues.
Troubleshoot and fix bugs in existing web applications.
Perform backend development using Eclipse, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
Integrate backend services with PostgreSQL databases.
Execute CRUD operations on database tables for development and troubleshooting.
