CAI is seeking a Software Developer Intern to support the development and maintenance of software applications. You will gain hands-on experience building new features, solving software issues, and expanding technical skills.

The internship runs June 7, 2027 through August 6, 2027, is fully remote, and requires 40 hours per week. Core hours are typically 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET, and all work must be performed within the United States.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Engineering, Geography/GIS, or related field.
• Current Junior with a 3.5 GPA or higher.
• Analytical mindset.
• Experience with various programming languages.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming techniques and SDLC.
• Experience with relational databases and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
