Edmentum is seeking a Virtual Social Science Teacher to bring classrooms to life through live, on-camera instruction. You will connect with students in real time, personalize learning, and foster an online environment where learners feel seen and supported daily.

This remote-first role requires five or more hours of live teaching, experience with online platforms, and a commitment to empowering K-12 students to succeed in a digital classroom.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Education and active state license in Indiana or Minnesota (Social Science 6-12).
• Experience teaching virtually or in-person; comfortable with live online classroom.
• Confident and engaging on camera; able to teach five or more hours daily.
• Hands-on experience with online learning platforms and standard productivity software.
• Data-informed: read student performance data to adjust instruction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; meet students and families where they are.
• Highly organized and self-directed; manage a full remote caseload.
• Committed to professional growth and staying current on K-12 curriculum and best practices.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver live, on-camera synchronous instruction for five or more hours per day on instructional days.
• Use student performance data to personalize instruction and address learning gaps.
• Provide timely, meaningful feedback and maintain accurate records for students and families.
• Build genuine relationships with students and families through proactive communication.
• Collaborate with school partners and Edmentum colleagues to ensure high-quality support across the learning experience.
