Role Overview
Due to the rapid growth of our marketing team, we are looking for an Associate Social Media & Public Relations Specialist. You’ll report into the Senior Director, Marketing Communications and Content.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies, creating engaging content and executing programming across Immersive’s social media channels, maintaining an editorial calendar, and supporting public relations initiatives in partnership with our agencies to enhance the company’s reputation. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure brand consistency and drive audience engagement across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities in this Role
- Social Media Strategy & Execution:Develop and implement effective social media strategies across platforms such as LinkedIn, X, and Instagram. Maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posting.
- Content Creation & Curation: Create, edit, and curate high-quality content, including social media posts, blog articles, graphics, short-form videos, and infographics that align with brand messaging.
- Audience Engagement & Community Management: Monitor social media trends, conversations, and engagement metrics to optimize campaigns. Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner, fostering relationships with the online community.
- Social Media Advertising: Partner with Brand and Digital leads to ensure effective paid advertising campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive conversions. Collaborate with marketing teams to set goals and measure ROI.
- Press Releases & Announcements:Support drafting messaging, media pitches, and company announcements in partnership with our Public Relations agencies, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and key messages.
- Analytics & Performance Tracking:Analyze media performance using social media analytics tools and adjust strategies accordingly. Prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and present
Required Qualification/Experience
- 2-4 years of proven experience in social media management and public relations.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with media and stakeholders.
