The candidate will work with data architects, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure data quality, security, and governance while managing performance and cost efficiency across Snowflake environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Data Engineering, Data Warehouse, Snowflake development, or similar role.
• Snowflake Certification is required.
• Strong hands-on Snowflake experience and databases/objects management.
• Advanced SQL development and query optimization skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake databases, schemas, tables, views, and other database objects.
• Create and optimize data models to support analytics, reporting, and BI initiatives.
• Develop and maintain fact and dimension tables using dimensional modeling best practices.
• Write and optimize complex Snowflake SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations.
• Implement performance tuning strategies, including query optimization, clustering keys, and warehouse sizing.
• Monitor and improve Snowflake performance, scalability and cost efficiency.
• Build and maintain materialized views, streams, tasks, and other Snowflake-native features.
• Partner with data architects, analysts and business stakeholders to design scalable data solutions.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and governance across Snowflake environments.
• Support ongoing enhancements to the enterprise data warehouse and analytics ecosystem.
