Job summary

S2Tech is seeking an experienced SNAP EBT Test Lead to support testing planning, processor coordination, and system acceptance for South Dakota’s SNAP EBT services project.

The Test Lead would work with the lead planning and procurement consultant, state personnel, and the EBT processor to establish a comprehensive testing approach, validate coverage of business and technical requirements, coordinate test activities, and assess implementation readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or substantially supporting testing for SNAP EBT systems or processor transitions.
• Ability to develop comprehensive test plans, acceptance criteria, test scenarios, scripts, and traceability.
• Experience coordinating testing among state agencies, processors, vendors, and interface partners.
• Practical knowledge of SNAP EBT transaction processing, benefit issuance, account activity, interfaces, reconciliation, and exception handling.
• Experience managing defects, reviewing test evidence, and assessing system acceptance and readiness.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive test plan covering scope, environments, data, and reporting.
• Create traceability between requirements, test cases, defects, and acceptance evidence.
• Coordinate testing activities with the EBT processor and state teams.
• Review processor test plans, scripts, results, and evidence for completeness.
• Plan coverage across unit, integration, performance, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing.
