BKD is hiring a Smart Contract Developer who will focus on Django and Python, spending less time in meetings and more coding time. This role is remote with a base in Arvada, CO.

You will pair program with engineers, optimize edge cases, and scale data pipelines with Elasticsearch, helping translate business needs into solid technical specs. Flexible remote schedule included.

The compensation range is $70,000 to $100,000 with mentorship and benefits—open for immediate candidacy.

• Experience with Django and Python in production.
• Ability to work remotely and collaborate across teams.
• Comfort with a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsabilités

• Pair-program tricky Django edge cases with engineers across Arvada, CO
• Shave milliseconds off the technology hot path that BKD users feel every click
• Scale data pipelines processing millions of events with Elasticsearch
• Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and libraries
• Reproduce the zero-bureaucracy bug from the Arvada field report, then make it impossible again
• Translate candor-rich business requirements into technical specifications and tasks
