Job summary

Healthcare Fraud Shield is seeking a Clinical Coder/Fraud Investigator to join our SIU team at headquarters. You will analyze medical records, abstract CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 codes, and prepare reports while maintaining privacy standards.

The role requires a CPC certification and at least one year of coding or billing experience, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Remote work eligibility is available.

Qualifications

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) with at least 1 year of coding/billing experience.
• Strong knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, Revenue Codes, DRG codes and ICD-10.
• Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret patient medical records for FWA investigations.
• Abstract CPT, HCPCS, Revenue Codes, DRG codes, and ICD-10 from medical records.
• Prepare written reports and summarize findings; maintain privacy and security standards.
• Perform data analysis of client data and support SIU investigations.
• Provide subject matter expertise and support to clients as needed.
