At the heart of the Schneider Electric Regional Execution Platform (REP) in Bratislava, the Remote Site Project Technical Expert role involves coordinating technical documentation, test procedures, and site logistics to support installation and commissioning activities across multiple projects.

Your role in action
- At tendering stage, based on technical documents prepared by Tender Team (Bill of Material, diagrams, layouts, schedule of delivery, customer planning if any, etc.), prepare detailed planning of site activities, organize chart, define required staff (quantity and skills), and identify tool needs and budget.
- In close coordination with the Tender Technical Leader, propose technical solutions to optimize site activity offers during installation (cost, duration, civil engineering requirements, cable assembly, etc.) and during commissioning tests (define and plan FAT / i-FAT / SAT).
- Analyze or prepare method statements related to installation and quality control of internal and external supplies, supported by quality experts.
- Participate in technical reviews from the basic design phase and assess site risks, proposing optimized solutions to ensure the solution can be installed and commissioned correctly.
- Ensure that all needed tools/files to follow progress on site are ready to use; define usage with support of Project Manager (event tracker, KPI, delivery tracking, time sheet templates, document follow-up file).
- List all design & operational documents required by FSE to perform installation & commissioning activities and maintain the document list with support from the document manager (test scripts, ITP, warranty letters, I&O list, OPC file, etc.). When necessary, prepare test scripts or ITP dedicated to project requirements.
- Analyze or prepare method statements related to installation of internal and external supplies.
- Manage tools for site activities; be responsible for management of our tools and test equipment on site, and anticipate any potential tool shortages.
- Follow up on non-quality issues raised during installation & commissioning activities and coordinate transfer to concerned suppliers, factories, or quality departments.
- Coordinate site activities with project manager and Technical Leader on topics such as kick-off meetings, punch list tracking for IG/OG suppliers, ensuring latest punch list versions post-FAT, and communication with factories for missing parts.
- Prepare Return of Experience (REX) / Lessons Learned files for installation & commissioning and share outcomes with the Site Works team; benchmark customer experience and build improvement plans with measurable impact.
- Provide remote technical assistance to internal and external SR teams and other project team members on installation and commissioning matters.
- Consult applicable standards regarding assembly and testing activities of our supplies as requested.
- Gather and communicate needs (quality, performance, functionality) for developing products, solutions, and services in coordination with the concerned departments.
Qualifications
- Education: Electrical technician with minimum Bachelor degree
- Language: English (C1 level mandatory with good communication skills); other languages are an advantage
- Experience: Ten (10) years total experience, including at least five (5) years on-site electromechanical testing
Skills & Knowledge
- Good software literacy: MS Office (MS Project), basic Primavera knowledge, Acrobat, AutoCAD, Outlook, testing device software (Omicron or equivalent), protection relays setting software
- Knowledge of Medium/Low voltage equipment, power stations and principles; latest technologies and commissioning test principles
- Knowledge of distribution protection systems, SCADA & control systems is a plus
- Knowledge of Data Center applications, electrical networks
Willingness to relocate to Slovakia is a plus.
