Job summary

IQVIA seeks a Site Activation Coordinator for a homebased role in South Africa. You will handle country-level activation activities, review regulatory documents, and maintain project trackers to support timely approvals and site readiness for clinical trials.

You will work under supervision to ensure compliance with SOPs and contractual guidelines, coordinating with internal teams and sponsors on multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science or related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ work experience; 1+ years in healthcare or similar.
• Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Review documents for completeness, consistency and accuracy under guidance of senior staff.
• Prepare site regulatory documents and ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Track progress and manage approval and execution of regulatory, ethics, ICF and IP release documents; distribute to sites and project teams.
• Support updating and maintenance of internal systems, databases, tracking tools, timelines and project plans with accurate information.
