Altera seeks a Signal Processing Specialist Field Applications Engineer to act as a trusted technical advisor for complex signal processing solutions. You will bridge customer requirements with field sales and engineering, guiding from concept through production, including DirectRF initiatives and RF processing.

Competenze

• Bachelors in a STEM field or higher required.
• 10+ years in signal processing, RF, imaging, or related domains.
• 10+ years developing FPGA-based or hardware-accelerated solutions.
• Strong DSP knowledge and implementation experience.
• Experience with FPGA toolchains (Quartus/Vivado).
• Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink and programming languages.

Mansioni

• Act as primary technical advisor for signal processing using FPGA solutions.
• Engage with customer engineering teams to capture system requirements.
• Lead discussions on signal processing, radar, imaging, AI/ML, and RF systems.
• Guide customers from algorithm development to FPGA deployment.
• Assess performance, power, and scalability tradeoffs.
• Collaborate with Sales, ADG, and product teams on opportunities.
• Deliver training, notes, and reference designs for customers.
