Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Security Engineer to join our internal services consulting team. This role targets experts in SIEM deployment, SOAR implementation, security automation, and Python development to architect, deploy, migrate, integrate, and optimize security operations platforms for enterprise clients.

You will work directly with security leaders and analysts to mature monitoring, detection, and incident response capabilities, deliver scalable automation, and drive successful

Qualifications

• 6+ years deploying and supporting enterprise SIEM platforms.
• 4+ years implementing security automation and orchestration.
• Strong Python development with API integrations.
• Experience leading SIEM migration projects.
• Hands-on SOAR deployment in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of SOC operations, threat detection and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement security automation using Python and SOAR.
• Lead customer engagements for SIEM deployment, migration, integration, and optimization.
• Create playbooks, workflows, integrations, and orchestrations to reduce analyst workload.
• Integrate SIEM, SOAR, ticketing, endpoint, cloud, identity, and threat intel platforms.
• Develop automation frameworks to improve SOC efficiency and scalability.
• Train and enable customer teams on SIEM and SOAR administration and best practices.
