Job summary

Philips seeks a Remote Service Engineer for IGT-S to join our remote-based support team. You will combine technical, networking and customer interaction skills to assist healthcare customers with Philips Image Guided Therapy systems.

You will provide telephone and remote diagnostics, respond to inquiries, escalate when needed, and use remote tools to minimize on-site visits. A background in diagnostic imaging and electronics is preferred, with an Associate degree or higher.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a diagnostic imaging service environment (field or hospital-based).
• Experience with Philips IGT systems (Azurion and/or Allura) is required.
• Ability to install, diagnose, and repair equipment using electronics, mechanical, and networking knowledge.
• Willingness to work in a remote/office setting with possible hospital-based environments.

Remote Service Engineer, IGT-S (Remote-Based)

Job Description

Exciting opportunity combine your technical, networking, and customer interaction skills utilizing the latest remote access technologies to assist healthcare customers with IGT - Fixed Systems products.

Your role:

• Acting as a Remote Service Engineer (RSE), the aim of your job is to provide telephone, remote technical support, and remote diagnostics to external healthcare customers and field partners, utilizing the latest remote access technologies.
• Acting as a Philips Representative in response to customer inquiries and providing telephone and remote technical support to external customers
• Resolving customer service events by leveraging Philips tools and resources as needed
• Timely escalation of customer product issues for evaluation and action by higher level support
• Utilization of appropriate remote tools to resolve issue and thus avoid dispatching of service call to Field Service Engineer
• Implementing best practices and process improvements while diagnosing problems, apply effective solutions and determine follow up actions
• Driving increased productivity through utilization of remote tools and technical skills
• Responds to customer product inquiries via telephone or in written internet-based email or chat sessions.
• Interpersonal skills and technical product knowledge and expertise are critical to responding to daily customer-centric activities.

You're the right fit if:

• You've acquired 2+ years of experience in a diagnostic imaging (field or hospital-based) service environment. Philips Image Guided Therapy (IGT) System - Azurion and/or Alllura systems experience and training is required.
• Your skills include the ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment, including knowledge and use of all necessary tools and test equipment.
• You have an Associate Degree in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience; BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET preferred.
• You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Field Service position.
• You must be able to: Work in an office/home office and/or remote setting, as well as in a hospital/healthcare environment; adhere to requirements.
• Work flexible hours (based on business needs to include overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations).
• Safely work with radiation sources and/or radioactive materials; wear all required personal protective equipment.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The hourly pay range for this position in AL, AR, AZ, CO, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MI, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VI, VT, WI, WV, and WY is $42 to $65, plus overtime eligible.

The hourly pay range for this position in AK, DE, HI, MD, MN, RI, and WA is $44 to $69, plus overtime eligible.

The hourly pay range for this position in CA, CT, MA, NJ, NY, WA and Washington D.C is $47 to $73, plus overtime eligible.

• This role also includes an annual incentive bonus plans, on-call pay, training, and advancement opportunities. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
