Job summary

Liberty Marketing is hiring a remote SEO Team Lead (UK-based or hybrid in Cardiff) with a salary of £45,000–£55,000. You will lead the SEO team, manage people, and own outcomes, working with the Organic Search Director and other channel leaders to grow revenue and client value.

You’ll be supported by the ops team, have access to revenue and margin data, and guide strategic decisions. Expect creative, data-driven, cross‑channel collaboration and a strong emphasis on growth.

Qualifications

• Led SEO teams and delivered client outcomes (leads, revenue, profit).
• Experience across agency structure with SEO, content, digital PR, and paid media.
• Commercially focused, able to discuss margins and spend with founders.

Responsibilities

• Articulate value with clients, set KPIs, and ensure the team hits targets.
• Grow the SEO channel: acquire more clients and revenue per client.
• Hire, coach, and manage team performance; decide on hires as needed.
• Keep SEO service current with AI-driven customer journeys and cross‑unit collaboration.
• Escalate with clients or campaigns when off track and report outcomes.
